This is confirmed by the data collected this year: 52% of Italians are willing to spend more for a sustainable brand<\/em>, 28% choose a food product depending on the packaging’s sustainability, and 75% of consumers in Europe say they prefer eco-friendly packagings.<\/p>\n

These are key figures that lead us to reflect on how important this issue is for the end customer and how companies will have to adapt to meet these increasingly high standards.<\/p>\n

Use of renewable sources in production, choice of revolutionary materials that may have been obtained from the processing of waste, the concept of circularity applied to packaging, etc. The goals are very precise and exciting.<\/p>\n

Many companies have already taken action.<\/p>\n

Apple<\/a>, for example, has patented a pack with increased resistance thanks to the cushioning effect obtained without using plastic, styrofoam or foam padding.<\/p>\n

Melinda<\/a> has launched certified 100% bioplastic compostable packaging for its organic apples.<\/p>\n

Formapaper<\/a> has launched a thermoformed tray made from recyclable paper, perfect for cured meats and cheeses.<\/p>\n

Sacchital Group won BEST PACKAGING 2021<\/a> for the Compoflex System product, an 100% compostable pack range.<\/p>\n
